Florida Yacht Brokers Association

The Florida Yacht Brokers Association was created in 1987 to unite those engaged in the yacht brokerage business for the purpose of promoting professionalism and cooperation among its members; and to promote and maintain a high standard of conduct in the transacting of the yacht brokerage business.

Each member is required to abide by a code of ethics to protect the public against fraud, misrepresentation, or unethical practices in the yacht brokerage profession. Each member is to endeavor to eliminate any practices, which could be damaging to the public or the dignity and integrity of the yacht brokerage profession.

The organization is comprised of over 750 individual members and over 350 businesses. The Yacht & Brokerage Show, held yearly in Miami, is owned jointly by the Florida Yacht Brokers Association and Yachting Promotions Inc. The show represents a significant cornerstone of achievement to the Association and the yacht brokerage community.

Marine Industry Association of Palm Beach

The Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County is a well established network of Palm Beach County, Florida’s leading marine businesses, serving the boaters of South Florida.

Safe and enjoyable boating for Palm Beach County’s more than 20,000 registered boaters as well as visitors to the area -- is a direct result of our leadership efforts in numerous legislative efforts on behalf of boaters and the marine industry. Working together, the businesses that comprise the membership of the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County have played an instrumental role in:

• Developing and maintaining the Palm Beach Boat Show, now the 7th largest in the world, along West Palm Beach’s beautiful Flagler Drive
• Coordinating, sponsoring and promoting the annual Holiday Boat Parade of the Palm Beaches
• Securing the Army Corps of Engineers commitment to dredge the Intracoastal Waterway, creating more access to our area for larger yachts
• Increasing the number and improving the visibility of navigational markers in Palm Beach County
• Creating artificial reefs
• Supporting Kids’ Fishing Day, an event that introduces young people who might not otherwise have an opportunity to experience boating and fishing to the sports
• Guaranteeing that tax dollars collected from boaters are returned to waterfront enhancement projects
• Endorsing the construction of new ramps in our area, assuring access to waterways for all people
• Publishing Coastlines, a magazine addressing the many issues facing South Florida boaters, that is distributed free to all owners of registered vessels 16’ or larger

The Marine Industries Association of Florida is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to:
• Promote and protect recreational boating as a traditional family pastime
• Protect and enhance the environment and Florida's waterways
• Promote boating safety for all of Florida's recreational boaters
• Preserve every citizen's right to access Florida's waterways
• Promote Florida boating and fishing as a tourism attraction
• Represent, educate and advance Florida's marine industry businesses and workforce

The Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast, Inc. (MIATC) is a not-for-profit trade association comprised of members in Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties who are dedicated to the promotion of pleasure boating and its related industries through education of our members and the boating public.
